Harpreet Singh Minhas, Director, is a strategic visionary and accomplished leader with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. With a strong academic foundation in Science and a Master’s Degree in Finance, he combines technical expertise, business acumen, and forward-thinking leadership to drive operational excellence, capacity expansion, innovation, and sustainable growth. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s long-term strategy, developing world-class manufacturing capabilities, and creating enduring value for stakeholders.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Minhas, Director, is a strategic visionary leader with deep expertise across the pharmaceutical value chain. Holding a Doctorate and two Master’s degrees, he combines scientific excellence with strategic foresight to drive innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. His leadership across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Human Resources, and Business Development continues to strengthen the organization’s competitive position and long-term success.

Our Journey Since 1983

1983 | Inauguration of Harman Finochem Limited in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar to pioneer advancements in API drug delivery.

1984 | Commenced Paracetamol commercial production.

1991 | Commenced Riboflavin Phosphate Sodium commercial production.

1992 | Initiated commercial production of Metformin Hydrochloride.

2001 | Received Certificate of Suitability from EDQM for the product Metformin HCl.

2003 | Received Certificate of Suitability from EDQM for the product Allopurinol.

2004 | 1st UDFDA was in Chikalthana site.

2005 | Received Certificate of Suitability from EDQM for the product Phenobarbital.

2007 | Accreditation of Health Canada, Korean FDA, WHO-GMP and Japanese health authorities for Shendra API.

2008 | German Health Authorities and Japanese accreditation for Shendra API; Chikalthana API inspected by USFDA.

2009 | TGA approval; Shendra and Chikalthana API inspected by USFDA with no 483s received. EDQM Certificate for Ketamine.

2010 | Received Certificates of Suitability from EDQM for Fenofibrate and Oxybutynin.

2011 | Chikalthana API inspected by Korean FDA.

2012 | Shendra and Chikalthana API inspected by USFDA with no 483s issued.

2013 | German Health Authorities inspection at both API sites; EDQM Certificates for Glycopyrrolate, Methadone HCl and Riboflavin Sodium Phosphate.

2014 | Cofepris inspection at the Shendra site for Divalproex Sodium.

2015 | Sites I and II both inspected by USFDA.

2016 | Established our first FDF manufacturing site.

2017 | Site I inspected by USFDA.

2018 | Chikalthana and Shendra API inspected by USFDA; FDF site EU-GMP inspected.

2019 | USFDA inspections (February and November); CDSCO inspections at FDF facility and Chikalthana API; WHO-GMP inspected.

2020 | Chikalthana API site inspected and approved by FAMI-QS.

2021 | Chikalthana API approved by FAMI-QS; Shendra API inspected by USFDA and CDSCO.

2022 | Both API sites inspected by CDSCO; Chikalthana API additionally FAMI-QS approved and Indonesia Halal certified.

2023 | Shendra API inspected by PMDA Japan and USFDA; FDF facility by CDSCO; Chikalthana API by EDQM and WHO-GMP.

2024 | Shendra FDF and Chikalthana API inspected by USFDA, MCAZ Zimbabwe and Hungary's National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy.

2025 | Inspected by CDSCO at Shendra B6, our newest manufacturing facility.
